Chelsea grew up in Kaneohe, Hawaii, where her volleyball journey began. At the age of 12 she was introduced to club volleyball and continued to play. In high school, Chelsea played as a Middle blocker for three years on the varsity squad at Iolani School.
Chelsea played 4 years of NAIA sports, two of those years in volleyball and the remaining two in water polo. In volleyball, she began her career as a Right-side hitter, and ended as a Defensive Specialist. In water polo she played as Azusa Pacific University’s (APU) goalie through her last two years. Chelsea now plays beach volleyball and has a AAA rating which she earned at the end of her first year playing sand volleyball.
Chelsea has been coaching club volleyball for several years and this year is also the Varsity coach at Pacific Collegiate High School. Chelsea enjoys the opportunity of being part of a staff that strives for excellence as they work together to ensure an unforgettable experience for their players.
Chelsea graduated Cum Laude from APU in the spring of 2010 with an undergraduate degree in Communication Studies, and an interpersonal emphasis. She currently works as Mount Hermon’s Youth and Adult Conference Registrar.
